Brad Wieck Runs 2nd at Lawenceburg Speedway Written By: BB1 (May 5th, 2009) – The team worked on the car the whole week. Changed rear suspension and while setting the toe Saturday morning they found problems with the front end. The team worked up until around 3:00 pm on Saturday. Decided to go to head to Lawrenceburg Speedway.
BB1 drew a 41, which placed us in the 3rd heat on the outside of row number one. Brad had a very good start and won the heat race. He started the "A" Main 3rd behind the 77 of Joey Kramer and 30t of Daryl Herbert. The 32c of Rick Corbin started along side of Brad. They had a yellow on the drop of the green flag. On the re-start Brad couldn't get around anyone and had to settle for 4th. Wieck took a couple laps to get around the 32c and 30t and by then the 77 of Joey Kramer was checked out. Could have used a yellow but the race went green flag the whole 20 laps. Brad was gaining on Joey but settled for 2nd. Brad and the team were very pleased with the way the car ran. All in all avery good night for the BB1 team.
