Race Report: Brownstown Speedway Written By: B&B Motorsports (April 7th, 2008) – The B&B Motorsports team visited the Brownstown Speedway in Indiana for the first time on Saturday April 5, 2008. There was a total of 43 Mods. Brad drew a 66 which placed him in the 2nd heat race, thrid row inside, with the race only taking the top 4 to the main event. Brad was running a brand new car which would actually be a disadvantage as he would use the first few laps to get used to the car again as he felt out the new set-up. Brad ran 7th as he soon found out he was still trying to find correct set-up.
Brad started in the first of two consi races with the top 2 finishers advancing to the main event. Brad started 3rd row outside and ran 4th. The team was a little disappointed because this is the first time in about 4 years we have not made an "A" main. However, B&B Motorsports learned a lot and didn't have a scratch on the new car. Next weeks plans are to run Moler Raceway in Ohio on Friday the 11th. B&B Motorsports would also like to thank the following sponsors for all their help over the last three years: Lightning Chassis Williams Precision Engines Dickson Racing Shocks Valvoline B&B Auto Care Napa Of Cleves Guido’s Restaurant Heckman’s Painting Garrett Paving Bridgetown Fine Meats Daley Machine Merrilies Supply Inc.
